Having grown up in San Diego, California, Judy learned to ride horses as a child at the famous Rawhide Ranch in Bonsall, touted as America’s best Wild West camping experience for kids. She has trained with Monty Roberts at the Monty Roberts International Learning Center at Flag is Up Farms. She is dedicated to advancing her riding and horsemanship skills by working with talented riders, trainers, and clinicians. Judy has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is certified through the Fear Free© Veterinary Professional Certification Program for Equines and through CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). When Judy is not teaching or riding, she volunteers at local horse shows and a nonprofit horse rescue organization.
